General Contractor and Sub-Contractor

Yes, we actually do both. We are duly registered and licensed as a General Contractor, and often do so for some of our clients. Additionally, a large portion of our business is done as a subcontractor to larger general contractors.

Opportunities for Subcontractors and Suppliers

At MG, we believe that great projects are built by great teams. Our success is founded on strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers who share our commitment to quality, safety, and on-time performance. We seek reliable partners who uphold the highest standards of professionalism and performance. We collaborate with companies across a wide range of trades and specialties — from foundations to precision finishes — as well as material and equipment suppliers.

Become/Prequalify as a MG Subcontractor

Although MG does not require Subcontractors to be qualified before submitting a bid, all selected Subcontractors must meet our qualifications before beginning work on a project. The requirements for qualification will vary depending on the project size and the client; however, our minimum requirements typically involve the following:

  • Proof of current contractor and licensing within the State of Florida

  • References from previous projects

  • Work portfolio (optional)

  • Commitment to quality and service excellence

  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities

  • General Liability $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate.

  • Automobile $1,000,000

  • Workers' Compensation insurance $100,000

  • A bond could be required based on individual projects

If you would like to prequalify with MG, send us your company information to be entered into our database for any future opportunities with MG.
